Islands, Man Man, Modest Mouse Supergroup Tours, Readies Album

Back in January, Islands’ Nick Diamonds and Man Man’s Honus Honus united under their self-created genre doom-wop. Only now do the two announce the addition of Modest Mouse’s Joe Plummer and the birth of their powerful trio, Mister Heavenly.

Sup Pop plans to release the group’s debut full-length at some point in 2011, according to Consequence of Sound.

In the meantime, the trio kicked off a tour with Passion Pit last night.
