Josh Brolin to Make Directorial Debut
Josh Brolin will reportedly step behind the camera to direct his first full-length film.
The Oscar-nominated actor will direct and star in Pitz & Joe, which is described as “a two-character drama about a young woman and her brain-damaged brother.” The story follows the woman, a divorced painter, and her junkie brother who must learn to cope with brain damage following a motorcycle accident.
The movie will be based on the Dominique Cieri play of the same name. Maya Forbes will adapt the screenplay. There’s no word on who will star opposite Brolin or when filiming is set to begin.
