Kodak Debuts Photo-Sharing Facebook App

Kodak recently revealed the Social Photo Album Creator, a new Facebook application that allows users to create group albums on the social networking site.

For example, if a group of friends all attend a wedding, rather than each posting their own pictures from the event, they can create one joint wedding album and upload their photos to share. “With the new Social Photo Album Creator from Kodak, Kodak has solved the problem of consumers having to look through dozens of different Facebook friends’ albums for pictures of a particular event,” said Kodak spokesman Rolando Martinez in a statement. “Not only can Facebook users invite friends to collaborate in creating and sharing one album, now they can easily tell their story by making something unique with those memories in a matter of minutes.”

Users will also be able to print the photos at their local Kodak kiosks by logging into their Facebook page instead of plugging in a memory stick or a USB drive.
