Movie About Pink Floyd Schoolchildren in Development

The kids who famously sang, “We don’t need no education” on Pink Floyd’s 1979 song “Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2” will reportedly be the inspiration for an upcoming movie.

Producer Adam Harries (The Queen) told Deadline that he’s secured the rights to the life story of Alun Renshaw, the music teacher whose students sang on the classic track. He described the movie as ”Dead Poets Society meets School of Rock.”

There’s no word on when filming is set to start, and Harries is reportedly still working to get the rights to the song. In the meantime, check out the video below, and remember: if you don’t eat your meat, you can’t have any pudding.
