Swedish indie popsters Peter Bjorn and John will release their sixth studio album on March 29.
The as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2009’s Living Thing will be the first from the group to feature an outside producer: Per Sunding is overseeing the proceedings.
That’s not the only change this sixth LP boasts. Apparently the band is playing with their sound as well. “We originally planned to make a punk rock album, but listening to it now it’s definitely a pop rock album,” drummer John Eriksson told Spin. “But it sounds more punk rock when we play the songs live! We’ve sort gone back to the beginning.”
Meanwhile, the band’s been soliciting ideas for the album’s artwork and title on their Twitter account. Hit ‘em up with your best pitches.
