Yo La Tengo Offers Limited-Edition Hannukah Mix CDs for Charity

Yo La Tengo are offering four hanukkah-themed mix CDs on their website as a supplement to their annual Hoboken, N.J.-based Hanukkah shows.

The four albums—each curated by a member of the band plus the band’s manager—feature such gems as Slim Gaillard’s “Chicken Rhythm," Bee Gees’ “I Close My Eyes” and Jack Rose’s “Luck in the Valley.”

Better act quick, though. Earlier the band tweeted: “Taking orders until 3am EST for YLT Hanukkah 2010 mix CDs! And then gone forever! Proceeds to charity!” All four albums are available at the band’s online shop.
