Basement Jaxx to Record Sci-Fi Soundtrack

According to Shaun of the Dead director Edgar Wright, Basement Jaxx will be producing the soundtrack for the British sci-fi film Attack on the Block.

In a recent tweet, Wright stated that he was listening to tracks from the upcoming soundtrack. He also recently tweeted that the soundtrack was a collaboration with Steve Price, who had a hand in composing some of the music used for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

This will be Basement Jaxx’s first full-length soundtrack for a feature fim, though the group has contributed to movie soundtracks such as It’s Complicated and Bend it Like Beckham.
