A new touchscreen tablet will be available in the U.S. from Dell through T-Mobile in the upcoming weeks. The new 7-inch tablet, the Streak 7, is an upgrade to the Streak 5 . It is reported that Dell will release a 10-inch tablet for business users later this year. There has not been any pricing information released yet, but the Streak 7 is reported to be available on T-Mobile’s 4G network and will run on Google’s Android 2.2.
According to Dell, the Streak 7 has 32 GB of internal storage and is equipped with Adobe Flash 10.1, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for use with video chat services like Qik or Skype, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and built-in GPS.
Dell has also stated that they plan to release the tablet globally, but no official date has been set.
