Pastoral folk harmonizers Fleet Foxes have a new album on the horizon. While there have been some consistent rumblings in recent months regarding the Seattle group’s follow-up to its stunning eponymous debut, it finally looks like there will be a new Fleet Foxes record in 2011.
Last night, frontman Robin Pecknold tweeted a major announcement regarding their band’s recent happenings: “Oh yeah, our record is done and mastered. That happened a little while ago. Announcements soon, but no turning back now I guess.”
The band has spent much of 2010 recording their yet-to-be-titled LP. Check out photos of the Fleet Foxes recording here.
