Nokia Ends Unlimited Music Service Ovi
Nokia recently announced that it will discontinue its Ovi Music Unlimited service in most of its markets.
The service is currently offered in 33 countries and will shrink to only offer subscriptions in China, India, Indonesia, Brazil, Turkey and South Africa.
Ovi was first released as Comes with Music in 2008. It is a music subscription that offered unlimited downloads. Users are able to continue to listen to their downloaded tracks after their subscription is over. Current subscribers to Ovi will retain the service until their subscription ends, and they will be able to listen to any music they have downloaded after that time.
Nokia is reportedly working on new music related services, though they have not released any more information at this time.
