The Strokes Confirm New Album Release Date

Strokes fans have been waiting five long years for a new album since 2006’s First Impressions of Earth. Now, that wait’s end has an official date, as Strokes’ bassist Nikolai Fraiture confirmed rumors that the band’s forthcoming as-yet-untitled album will drop March 22.

The band also recently scheduled the first few stops of a new tour, where they will be sharing the stage with the likes of Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Portishead, Beriut, and Rage Against the Machine.
