The 17th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards took place last night, and The King’s Speech and The Fighter were the biggest winners, relatively speaking, each taking home a pair of awards.
The King’s Speech won “Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture” and star Colin Firth received “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role." The Fighter’s Christian Bale and Melissa Leo each took home a statue for “Outstanding Performance in a Supporting Role."
Natalie Portman won "Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role” for Black Swan.
