The Strokes Announce First Tour Dates of 2011

In support of their upcoming album, The Strokes have announced the first five dates of what will presumably be their 2011 tour.

In Spain, the band will appear alongside Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Portishead and Beriut at the Festival Internacional de Benicàssim. The only U.S. date so far is in Las Vegas in March, but with an album on the way, it’s likely these will be the beginning of a long year on the road for the band.

14-17 – Benicassim, Spain @ Benicassim Festival

August
13 – Tokyo, Japan @ Summer Sonic Festival
14 – Osaka, Japan @ Summer Sonic Festival
