The Writers Guild of America announced its nominations for exceptional achievement in screenwriting in 2010. Screenplays for both Aaron Sorkin’s The Social Network and Stuart Blumberg’s The Kids Are Alright were among those selected. However, several celebrated films this year including The Kings’ Speech, Winter’s Bone and Toy Story 3 did not make the cut due to the WGA’s controversial and complicated Minimum Basic Agreement.
