Aimee Mann to Tour, Preview New Material

Aimee Mann has announced a handful of east coast dates beginning in April. Fans can expect to hear songs from her entire catalogue, as well as a preview of songs from her upcoming musical debut, based upon her 2005 album The Forgotten Arm. Set in the 1970s, The Forgotten Arm follows the story of John, a Vietnam vet and boxer struggling with addiction, and Caroline, a young woman trying to escape the dead end world she lives in, as they meet, fall in love and road trip across America.

Those who can’t wait until April to see Mann live can catch a glimpse of her on IFC comedy series Portlandia. Mann plays herself on recent episode, “Pinata.”
