The Coen brothers are no strangers to death and violence, having written and/or directed films like No Country for Old Men, Blood Simple and True Grit, but they’ve never tackled a project that stayed strictly within the horror genre. That is, until now.
They revealed the information to Empire during a conversation about True Grit. When asked if they’d ever consider a horror film, Ethan Coen answers “Funny you should ask, yes, we’re working on a couple of scripts now, one of which it would be fair to call a full-on horror movie.”
No further details are available, but in the meantime, you can start filling in the blanks with unreasonable expectations. Yay, anticipation!
