The Stooges Announce Raw Power Live Album

After performing their 1973 classic Raw Power throughout much of the last year, Iggy and The Stooges will release a live recording of the record. On April 5, the band will bring Raw Power Live: In the Hands of the Fans to stores. The record documents the proto-punk legends playing the record live in its entirety at last September’s All Tomorrow’s Parties. “Getting this top-notch performance of the entire Raw Power album by The Stooges realized a life long dream,” Iggy said in a statement. “This shit really sizzles and we are so obviously a crack band in a class of our own.”

In addition, Iggy and The Stooges will play a handful of dates in 2010, mostly at various festivals throughout Europe.
