Jason Segel Goes Undercover

How I Met Your Mother and Forgetting Sarah Marshall star Jason Segel is set to star in an upcoming comedy by DreamWorks about an undercover cop in the 1980s. The project, fittingly titled Undercover Cop, is being written by Jason Micallef, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Details are still up in the air, but the plot is apparently roughly based on the true story of a former cop who infiltrated the New Jersey criminal underground in the ’80s.

Segel is currently finishing up his Muppets project, which he wrote, directed and starred in.
