New Angry Birds Game Due in March

Angry Birds developer Rovio has announced that a new version of the game is due out in March. That game, Angry Birds: Rio, will feature 45 new levels, and is a tie-in with upcoming Ice Age creator Carlos Saldanha’s animated feature film Rio.

The new game will see the original angry birds captured and taken to Rio de Janeiro where they escape and work to free their new friends, Blu and Jewel, two rare macaws and the stars of the upcoming film. It appears as though the pigs, the primary antagonists of the Angry Birds franchise so far, will not appear.
