Listen to the New Telekinesis Album

Poppy rock ‘n’ roll band, Telekinesis, headed by Michael Benjamin Lerner, earned a fair amount of acclaim with their debut LP Telekinesis!, and now NPR is streaming the band’s forthcoming new record, 12 Desperate Straight Lines.

The songs are upbeat, evoking everything from Weezer to classic Cure. But the lyrical content belies Lerner’s confrontations with more negative experiences, including depression, heartbreak and loneliness. 12 Desperate Straight Lines is also available for pre-order and will be released Feb. 15 on Merge.
