The Strokes, Queens Of The Stone Age, Lucinda, Many More Confirmed for 2011 SXSW
This time next month, South By Southwest 2011 will be under way. The music portion of SXSW, which takes place in Austin from March 16-20, has continuously added bands to its massive lineup over the past several weeks. While many of these artists are relatively unknown, several big names recently were just confirmed for the festival. Among these additions are The Strokes, Queens Of The Stone Age, B.o.B., Lucinda Williams, Liz Phair, And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of The Dead and Robert Earl Keen.
Additionally, SXSW has added Duff McKagan’s Loaded, Panic! at the Disco, Meat Puppets, X Japan, The Black Angels, Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears, Reggie Watts, Kurt Vile & the Violators, Sasha, Calvin Harris, J. Cole, The Cool Kids, Megafaun, Jamie xx, Jesse Malin & The St Marks Social, She Wants Revenge, Cass McCombs, Phantogram, The Cave Singers, Liturgy, The Fresh & Onlys, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, An House, AWOLNATION, Ben Sollee, Boats, Colin Stetson, The Ferocious Few, Hanson, Papercuts, Parlovr, and Peanut Butter Wolf.
