The National, Public Enemy, Edward Sharpe to Play Rites of Spring 2011

Vanderbilt’s annual Rites Of Spring festival will feature Kid Cudi, The National, Public Enemy, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Sara Bareilles and Matt & Kim, reports Nashvillest.com.

The lineup was leaked last year by Vanderbilt’s student site InsideVandy, and this year, a similar experience occurred. “The Rites of Spring lineup may have been mistakenly revealed on a test website on Tuesday, a week before the planned official news release,” writes Liz Furlow on InsideVandy.

But ostensibly because of the error, the lineup was officially revealed five days earlier than planned. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, Feb. 24, for the festival that takes place on March 15 and 16 at Vanderbilt University. Student tickets are $30; single-day tickets are $45; weekend passes are $55 if bought in advance and $65 if purchased the day-of.
