Via Consequence of Sound: As Record Store Day draws nearer, more artists’ releases are being announced; Jónsi, Beck, Beastie Boys and Bat for Lashes are just a few to be added to the already substantial list.
Beck and Bat for Lashes will re-release their Twilight collaboration, “Let’s Get Lost,” with a previously-unreleased Bat for Lashes demo, “Dark Time,” on the record.
Radiohead fans have a few new songs to look forward to, as the band will release a 12" vinyl that will feature two unreleased tracks, “The Butcher” and “Supercollider.”
Other recently announced releases include Jónsi’s 12″ Go Out EP, the lead single off of the Beastie Boys upcoming Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2 and Gorllaz’s “The Fall.”
Gigwise reports that The View recorded a cover of The Tweeds’ “I Need That Record” as the official anthem for this year’s Record Store Day.
