Bill Callahan, TV Torso, Many More Featured on Austin Music Volume 10

Austin, Texas has just released its very own album last week to welcome the thousands of visitors expected for this month’s SXSW. The Bright Social Hour, The Trishas, Bill Callahan and Sahara Smith are a few of the artists representing the Live Music Capital of the World on Austin Music Volume 10. The CD and vinyl version of the record will also be available during the festival or at AustinTexas.org.

Last year, The Bright Light Social Hour earned the Best Indie Band title at the Austin Music Awards, which will take place during SXSW at the Austin Music Hall. Sahara Smith, fresh off her performance on Late Night With David Letterman, will perform at this year’s awards. Now, if we could just find one of those pedicabs to drive us from Sixth St. to the other side of Congress Avenue.
