Mass Effect + FemShep = Awesome

It's no secret that we here at Paste love Mass Effect. It's also no secret that when it comes down to choosing our protagonist's gender, we prefer FemShep—the female version of Commander Shepard—to her more popular BroShep counterpart. What you may not know is that we're also huge fans of the late 90's anime Cowboy Bebop. And so today... well, today was a good day.

That's because we got a tip that YouTube user Aislinn Trista had taken it upon herself to create the video below. It's a mash-up of all of the characters from the first two Mass Effect games done in the style of the opening credits from Cowboy Bebop and set to, what else, Yoko Kanno's iconic big band tune "TANK!"

And the best part? At the end of the clip, the bass drops, the trumpets blare, and instead of another bald-headed space-bro, the babe-licious Mackenzie Shepard makes her debut. Oh, yeah.
