Death Cab for Cutie to Film and Broadcast Music Video Live

Ben Gibbard and co. plan to do something a little different for the band’s forthcoming music video. For “You Are A Tourist,” Death Cab will film the scripted music video while simultaneously broadcasting it live. Tim Nackashi, who worked with OK Go on their ingenious clips, will direct the music video, which will air on April 5 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT at this website.

“You Are A Tourist” is the first single from the band’s newest record Codes and Keys, which comes out May 31. Listen to the song below.
