The infamous Social Network is making changes again, this time offering film rentals. Facebook has partnered with Warner Bros. to allow users to rent movies. The Dark Knight is available now, as the first title released through the partnership. Warner Bros. plans to add more titles to list of movies that users will be able to rent and purchase.
Users can rent a movie and watch it through their browser for 30 Facebook credits, or $3. The rental will be available for 48 hours. There are a few stipulations, though: To rent movies, users must grant Warner Bros. permission to access their account information, just like any other app. No information means no movies. Also, this offer is not available in all states.
