First 3D Star Wars Film Gets Release Date
George Lucas, he the never-satisfied papa of the Star Wars empire, has decided that he will once again give his saga a makeover. Lucas announced plans last year to convert all six Star Wars films to 3D, releasing one a year in chronological order (as far as storyline is concerned).
The 3D edition of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace will be released on Feb. 10, 2012. Q: Who would’ve thought we’d get the chance to hate Jar Jar Binks in a third dimension? A: Probably everyone.
