Foo Fighters Tour Garages, Say No To Glee

Before embarking on their upcoming summer tour, Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters are planning a “garage” tour through April. In the spirit of the band’s new album, Wasting Light, recorded entirely in Grohl’s garage, the Foos plan to play a number of intimate shows in fans’ garages through april.

Fans can enter their garages for a chance to host the Seattle rockers. Tickets to the intimate shows will be available through contests with local radio stations.

In other Foos news, the band was recently made a statement regarding Glee creator Ryan Murphy and their music appearing on the hit show. Apparently, the boys are not too happy at the idea. “It’s every band’s right, you shouldn’t have to do fucking Glee,” Grohl told The Hollywood Reporter. “And then the guy who created Glee is so offended that we’re not, like, begging to be on his fucking show… fuck that guy for thinking anybody and everybody should want to do Glee.”

So don’t expect to see the Glee kids singing “Everlong” or “Learn to Fly” any time soon. Check out the dates and local radio stations for the garage tour below:
