Harry Potter Studio Tours Set for 2012

Fans of Harry Potter will soon have another vacation destination to add to their wishlist with the opening of The Making of Harry Potter tour.

The Warner Bros. Studio Tour London will take visitors on a three-hour long tour at Leavesden, a studio production facility and home to all eight Harry Potter films. The tour will showcase costumes, effects and props that were used to make J.K. Rowling’s novels come to life. Sets for the Great Hall at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, headmaster Dumbledore and other exhibits that have yet to be announced will also be visited. Leavesden is currently under construction outside of London, but has also been home to The Dark Knight and Sherlock Holmes.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, the final installment of the series, is for theatrical release on July 15.
