Watch Jeff Tweedy Perform A New Song

If early news and rumors are any indication, 2011 is going to be a great year for Wilco fans. The veteran Chicago rockers have already launched their own record label, announced the return of their self-curated music festival and have strongly hinted at releasing their eighth LP later this year. Now, we may have a preview of a brand new Wilco track that may be included on their forthcoming yet-to-be-titled record.

Jeff Tweedy performed a new song Friday night during a solo performance at Montreal’s Olympia Theatre. While the Wilco frontman did not confirm whether or not the new song was a Wilco or Jeff Tweedy song, it sounds every bit like a first glimpse into what Wilco has in store as they continue to prep their next record.
