James Bond "Dresses" Up for International Women's Day

Daniel Craig, best known for his role as James Bond, has dressed in drag to raise awareness about sexual equality.

Nowhere Boy filmmaker Sam Taylor-Wood directed the short that features Craig-as-crosdressing-Bond. Judi Dench lends her voice to the short, speaking as her character M, from the Bond movies. Dench asks Craig a series of questions about issues facing women, at which he is silent. Craig is then shown in a long blonde wig, knee-length dress and women’s shoes as Dench lists statistics that illustrate the challenges that women often face in today’s society.

“Bond is challenged by ‘M’ to think about gender inequality, and I hope that the film encourages viewers to do the same,” Taylor-Wood said in a statement
