Julianne Moore to Portray Sarah Palin in HBO Film

Julianne Moore is set to play former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin in an upcoming film for HBO. Based on the book Game Change by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, the film of the same name will chronicle the 2008 Presidential election, including candidate John McCain’s campaign and his surprise selection of Palin as his running mate.

The film will be helmed by Meet the Parents-series director Jay Roach who also directed HBO’s Recount about the controversy surrounding the 2000 presidential election and the Florida recount.
