Napster Creator Among Warner Music Group Prospective Buyers

Sean Parker, best known as creator of Napster, has joined the number of those looking to purchase Warner Music Group.

Warner Music Group is currently weighing their options, having received several buy-out offers. The most recent comes from Parker, who is part of a group led by billionaire Ron Burkle.

The music group is anticipated to sell for more than $2 billion, and speculators say the deal will close next month.

Most recently, Parker has been working as a consultant to the music service Spotify, which is currently is trying to expand into the U.S.
