Rolling Stones, Rush and Nirvana Receive iPad Apps

Universal Music Group is reviving classic albums with brand new iPad apps.

Nirvana’s Nevermind, Rush’s 2112 and Moving Pictures (one app) and the Rolling Stones’ Ladies and Gentleman: The Roliing Stones are revisited through video content, interviews with remaining band members and social networking content.

Unlike the Rolling Stones app, which is based on their concert film, the Nirvana and Rush apps do not include full songs.

UMG is offering the three apps at $5.99 for Nirvana, $6.99 for Rush and $7.99 for Rolling Stones.
