Robert Plant, Sade with John Legend, Buddy Guy to Play Montreal International Jazz Festival
Spinner reports that the 32nd Montreal International Jazz Festival will host some highly notable musicians, including Robert Plant and his Band of Joy, Sade with John Legend, Buddy Guy, Bruce Cockburn, Joshua Redman, Regina Carter and Lizz Wright, among others.
The complete lineup for the indoor concert will be announced on April 6, while the free outdoor program lineup arrives in June.
The inaugural edition of the concert showcased artists like Ray Charles, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerlald, Tony Bennett, James Brown and Dizzie Gillespie. Other famous acts to come through include Bob Dylan, Sting, Stevie Wonder and Van Morrison.
Tickets go on sale this Saturday at noon, but the presale is already running at MontrealJazzFest.com, where you can find a bunch of additional information, including participating hotels and maps of the festival.
