Snoop Dogg Teaming Up with Wiz Khalifa for Stoner Comedy

Legendary rapper Snoop Dogg is joining forces with rising hip-hop star Wiz Khalifa for an upcoming stoner comedy. The two rhyme slingers conceived the project, titled High School, while working on a song for The Doggfather’s forthcoming album Doggumentary.

“Just being a fan of [Wiz’s] music and likewise, he called me to be on a remix,” Snoop told Billboard after his SXSW performance. “From the remix we became close friends and spent time together… [we] made six or seven songs and created an idea to do a movie and a soundtrack, and just a bond – to build a friendship and build a brotherhood.”

The film is set to begin shooting in May, but no release plans have been finalized yet.
