The Black Lips Release New Single, Video

While you were sitting at home last weekend playing with your Pogs and Tamagotchis (We’ve been meaning to tell you that your hobbies are pretty outdated, by the way.), The Black Lips were busy headlining the Bruise Cruise three day, 400-person high-seas trip to the Bahamas and back. But at least the Lips were thoughtful enough to bring home a souvenir in the form of a video for their new song, “Go Out and Get It!”

“Go Out and Get It!” is the group’s brand new single from their forthcoming Mark Ronson-produced LP Arabia Mountain—which comes out sometime in June. The Vivian Girls join in on the fun with the Atlanta rockers as well. Video producer Andy Capper summed up the weekend in saying: “Man, what a drag. We had to go all the way to the fucking Bahamas this weekend to make a video for The Black Lips. The weather sucked, there was no booze and people were banned from wearing swimsuits. Nobody threw a guitar off the side of the boat but everybody had a thoroughly miserable, shitty time.”
