Our round-up of notable news from the world of gaming for the week of March 21st, 2011.

• The Weinstein Company is planning to enter the videogame market.
• Famously difficult face-melting Guitar Hero song “Through the Fire and Flames” is coming to Rock Band 3 in this week’s pack of Dragonforce DLC.
• The Dead Space movie is still in production, according to director D.J. Caruso.
• A series of videos promoting the upcoming Portal 2 will be released once a week leading up to the game’s release. The first, “Panels,” is quite hilarious.
