Woody Harrelson Joins HBO Film Game Change

Woody Harrelson is the most recent actor to sign onto the political film, Game Change. He’ll portray John McCain’s senior campaign strategist and advisor Steve Schmidt.

The film follows McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign and his selection of Alaskan governor Sarah Palin as his running mate.

Ed Harris will be play McCain, and as we recently reported, Julianne Moore would be filling the role of Palin.

The HBO Film and Everyman Pictures project is based on the bestselling novel Game Change by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin, with Jay Roach directing the picture.
