Beastie Boys Make Some Noise With New Single
Back in 2009, the outlook for the Beastie Boys looked grim. After being tapped to headline numerous major festivals that year including Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits, the Brooklyn rappers were forced to abruptly take a break from music after Adam “MCA” Yauch was diagnosed with cancer. Fast-forward approximately two years now and Yauch is healthy and the Beastie Boys are back in action. With their forthcoming eighth LP Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2 ready to hit the shelves on May 3, the acclaimed hip-hop trio have now released their lead single “Make Some Noise.”
After the song had recently leaked online, the Beastie Boys decided to stream “Make Some Noise” on their website. “This wasn’t really part of the plan, but since this track is out there we wanted to let you hear it here first, or maybe second. Enjoy,” Mike D explained on their website.
