Kanye, Coldplay to Headline Splendor in the Grass Festival

Australia is bringing in Kanye West and Coldplay to headline their 2011 Splendor in the Grass Festival.

The two acts will be joined by 79 other artists for the eleventh annual event, which takes place July 29-31 in Byron Bay, Australia.

Cut Copy, Friendly Fires, Fitz and the Tantrums, Regina Spektor, The Kills, Noah and the Whale, James Blake and Elbow are just a few of the performances scheduled for this year.

Tickets range from $423.50 to $554.40 and are set to go on sale through Moshtix on May 9 at 9 a.m. EST. The festival, being relatively small with only 15,000 tickets, is expected to sell out quickly. Splendour in the Grass sold out in a few hours in both 2009 and 2010.
