Liam Neeson Cut From The Hangover II
Actor Liam Neeson will no longer be appearing in The Hangover II after last minute script changes.
Neeson had taken over the role of a tattoo artist, after cast and crew had decided that a Mel Gibson cameo was probably not the best idea.
Director Todd Phillips chose to cut the scene that followed Neeson’s, which meant that Neeson’s scene would need to be reshot.
Unfortunately, the actor was in London shooting a sequel to Clash of the Titans and unavailable.
Instead, director and actor Nick Cassavetes (The Notebook, Face/Off) has been recast in the role and will be who moviegoers see when the film hits theaters.
The Hangover Part II is scheduled for release on Memorial Day weekend.
