Ray LaMontagne, Kid Cudi, The Flaming Lips to Play DMB Chicago Festival
Via Consequence of Sound: Dave Matthews Band recently announced the lineup for the second of their four festivals this summer.
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Ray LaMontagne, Kid Cudi and Ben Folds will play at the Chicago Dave Matthews Band Caravan. The festival is scheduled for July 8-10 at the city’s Lakeside.
Other artists on the bill include Amos Lee, David Gray, O.A.R., Emmylou Harris and The Flaming Lips performing Dark Side of the Moon.
They will be joined by G. Love & Special Sauce, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Gomez, Drive-By Truckers, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Daniel Lanois’ Black Dub, The Jayhawks, SOJA, Soulive, The Wailers, Blind Pilot, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, TR3, Vieux Farka Toure, Alberta Cross, Mariachi El Bronx, Bobby Long, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Jeff Coffin’s Mu’tet, Gary Clark Jr., with special performances by Dave Matthews Band members Carter Beauford and Stefan Lessard and a Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds acoustic set.
Tickets can be requested now through Friday, April 15 at 8 a.m. CST at warehouse.davematthewsband.com. At 10 a.m. CST on Friday, April 15, the three-day passes will go on sale to the general public for $195 and can be purchased here.
The Chicago showcase is the second of four music festivals to be announced, the first being held in Atlantic City on June 24-26. Details for the other festivals have yet to be revealed.
