The Office to Air Star-Studded Season Finale

As both The Office season finale and Steve Carell’s last hurrah draw near, the question on everyone’s mind is “Who will serve as Michael Scott’s successor?” The number of candidates seems to be growing, as three more stars have been added to the list, including Ray Romano, James Spader and British comedienne Catherine Tate.

The trio is confirmed by “an insider” to star in the season finale as applicants for the Dunder Mifflin manager’s seat. These new additions join previously announced finale guests Will Arnett and Ricky Gervais, who are also scripted to be vying for the position.

Will Ferrell wraps up his four-episode story arc as substitute manager Deangelo Vickers in mid-May and is not expected to return next season. Carell bows out on April 28, while the season wraps up on May 19.
