The RZA Secures Recurring Role on Californication
Wu-Tang Clan leader The RZA has just been confirmed for a recurring role on Showtime’s Californication.
The rapper will portray “a slightly dangerous hip-hop mogul who Hank (David Duchovny) considers writing a movie for” in the series’ fifth season, according to TVLine.com. The tentative name for the character is Apocalypse. Let’s hope it doesn’t get changed.
This isn’t RZA’s first turn in front of the camera either. The MC has previously appeared in such films as Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai, Coffee and Cigarettes and American Gangster.
