Watch Lost In The Trees Video for "All Alone In An Empty House"
The orchestral-folk group Lost In The Trees, who played at our SXSW Paste Party this year, have released a new video for “All Alone In An Empty House.”
The video’s based on lead singer and songwriter Ari Picker’s childhood, which was full of dramatic family turmoil.
“The video is a visual symphony of sometimes disturbing, other times beautiful imagery,” Picker tells Spinner. “It follows the song’s progression from bitterness to redemption — from shotgun-knife standoff to a night sky filled with rising lanterns. It required band members to endure hardships like hanging from a tree between flaming ropes and being dragged facedown through dirt and leaves.”
The haunting video was directed and produced by Picker and Jerry Stifelman of CreatoDestructo
