The White Stripes’ final concert from 2007 will be released as a live album, Live in Mississippi.
Jack White’s Third Man Records announced the July 31, 2007 performance in Southaven, Miss. will be released as a double vinyl set. No word on whether the album will also be released as a CD or digital download.
The final show included selections from each of their six albums, but it also featured covers of Robert Johnson, Son House and Leadbelly songs.
The band also plans to release an EP of covers of Love’s “Signed DC” and Otis Redding’s “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long,” and a DVD release, Under Moorhead Lights All Fargo Night, of the White Stripes’ June 13, 2000 set at Ralph’s Corner Bar in Moorhead, Minn.
