Alec Baldwin Rejoins Rock of Ages

Alec Baldwin recently announced he was dropping out of Rock of Ages, but it appears the actor has rejoined the movie.

Baldwin recently told production house New Line that he was dropping out of the film for medical reasons. After speaking with studio heads, the actor was persuaded to attend the cast reading for the rock musical.

Director Adam Shankman confirmed that Baldwin attended the reading and was back in to play Dennis Dupree, the owner of the Bourbon Room, the nightclub that is the setting for most of the film.
