Ben Stiller has revealed news that is “so hot right now.”
Last year Paste confirmed that a Zoolander sequel is in the works, and now Stiller has discussed the script, which he submitted earlier this year.
In an interview with Empire Magazine, Stiller gave details about the sequel: taking place mostly in Europe, it is set 10 years after Zoolander, with male models Derek and Hansel struggling in the industry.
“And then there are things set up at the end of the first movie that we’re able to build on, like Derek and Matilda have a son, and Mugatu went to jail,” the ridiculously good-looking (see what we did there?) actor told Empire. “There’s a lot there, I’m excited about the idea of doing it.”
Zoolander 2 is set to release in 2012.
